305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation: a) Noted back door open at the time of the inspection.
b) Window next to the back door opens to the garbage disposal outside the restaurant. This is a potential entry point for pests.
Corrective Action(s): a) Back door was closed during the inspection. Recommend installing a screen on the door to prevent the entry of pests if the operator wishes to keep the door open for ventilation.
b) Ensure that the window is either kept closed or a screen is installed on it.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: The dishwasher is not currently working and is turned off. There are 6 seats in the front area where food service takes place. However, there is only a 2-compartment sink for washing dishes. As this does not meet the standard for dishwashing, the food service must be take-out only until the dishwasher is fixed and a follow up inspection takes place.
A new dishwasher has been ordered by the operator to replace the current one.
Corrective Action(s): A follow up inspection is required when the new dishwasher is installed. Operator to provide a timeframe for when it will be installed.
