Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were reviewed for compliance with the exception of (list areas not reviewed at the routine inspection

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR ## RSUN-AT6PUZ have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice except for those noted on supplementary pages.

Observed Violations
RECORDS AND REPORTING: 19030 - CCLR s.55(2)(a) - A licensee must notify the medical health officer within 24 hours after (a) a child is involved in, or may have been involved in, a reportable incident described in Schedule H while under the care or supervision of the licensee.
Observation: CCFL reviewed the staff records and found that a staff had been involved in a Reportable Incident which was not reported to Licensing as required.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that a Reportable Incident form is submitted to Licensing.

Comments

There were 14 children and 4 staff present. At this inspection one contravention were identified (see above).
CCFL observed that there is a large number of toys that are suitable for Infants and Toddlers in the Group Child Care (30 months to school age), please ensure that there a variety of toys and equipment to meet the developmental needs of the children. CCFL suggests that you review information on what grants may be available to assist you.
