302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Low temperature dishwasher measured 0 ppm chlorine. Container of chlorine pellets was a little less than half full. Operator filled up the container of pellets afterwards. Subsequent testing of the dishwasher resulted in 50 ppm chlorine. Operator states the dishwasher was tested earlier using chlorine test strips and was working properly. An alarm is supposed to sound and dishwasher is locked from use when the sanitizer level is too low. Corrective Action(s): Ensure the chlorine pellet container is filled up at all times. Continue to monitor dishwasher sanitizer concentration on a regular basis to ensure it is working properly. Violation Score: 5
