Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwashing station at front service area is not supplied with liquid soap or paper towel.
Corrective Action(s): Supply the hand washing station with liquid soap and paper towel. All handwashing stations must be equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel at all times to promote proper handwashing and to prevent potential contamination of food.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Raw marinated meat and eggs placed above a box of raw tomatoes in the 2-door stainless steel cooler. Staff placed the raw meat and eggs on the bottom shelf during inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Store all raw meat, including eggs, on bottom shelves and/or away from ready-to-eat foods to prevent potential contamination and foodborne illness.

Routine Inspection Conducted

Observations:
- Walk-in cooler at 2'C
- 2-door stainless steel cooler at -19'C
- Sandwich/prep coolers (x2) at or below 4'C
- All chest freezers (x3) at or below -19'C
*NOTE: chest freezer in kitchen is observed with duct tape on the door. Staff stated that a new chest freezer is on order to replace this freezer
- No hot-holding on site
- General sanitation is good during inspection
- Staff stated that deep cleaning is conducted once/week
- Hand washing station in sink is unobstructed and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel
- Low-temperature chemical dishwasher measured at 100 ppm chlorine residual on plate surface with test strips
- 2-compartment sink available with drain plugs
- Chlorine test strips are available on site
- Bleach sanitizer available in bucket (X1) with wiping cloth and measured at 200 ppm chlorine concentration with test strip
- Ventilation canopy and ice machine observed in satisfactory sanitary condition
- All food observed stored covered and at least 6 inches off the floor
- Chemicals are stored away from food
- No signs of pest activity on site
- Professional pest control company is contracted to complete monthly inspections - no recent activity noted
- FOODSAFE Level 1 trained staff available on site (EXP: Aug 22, 2024)

Reminders:
- Maintain a temperature log for all coolers and freezers. A temperature log was provided to staff during inspection
- Single-use containers should not be used as scoops as the containers are meant for single-use, cannot be adequately sanitized between uses and come into direct contact with food.
- All food packaging should be inspected upon receiving to audit for dented cans/imperfect packaging to prevent potential contamination of food

Recommendations:
- Install a stainless steel/vinyl backsplash behind the 2-compartment sink to prevent mold/moisture build-up and to maintain the premise in sanitary condition
