- Hand sink properly supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
- Three-compartment sink was properly set up for manual warewashing. Chlorine-based sanitizer solution available at 100 ppm. Sinks maintained in sanitary conditions and sink drain plugs available.
- Dipper wells for in-use ice cream scoops were in use and maintained in sanitary conditions.
- Ice cream freezers were measured at -18C or colder.
- Coolers measured at 4C or colder. *Note: Large prep cooler not turned on, only used for dry storage. OK.
- Ice machine maintained in sanitary condition. Scoop properly stored.
- General sanitation satisfactory.
- Food storage practices satisfactory.
- Regular pest control is in place. No signs of pest activity noted at time of inspection.
- Operator has valid FoodSafe level 1 certificate (expires September 2023 - ensure to take the refresher course prior to expiry date).
