308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)] Observation: Handwash sink in kitchen is slow to drain, wastewater from one sink backflows to the other sink after repeated usage. Corrective Action(s): Handwash sink was disinfected with a 1:10 dilution of bleach. Service the sink so that it no longer backflows. Disinfect sink if wastewater emerges up the other sink again. Reminder: Adequate handwashing is still required on a regular basis. Date to be corrected by: 6.13.2018 Violation Score: 9

Follow-up inspection to routine conducted on May 29, 2018 (RPT #: DSOG-AZ8SR2). - Functional thermometers now present inside sandwich cooler unit inside kitchen, and in freezer unit behind the front counter - Temperature logs are accurately maintained and up-to-date to June 6, 2018 (date of inspection) - Back storage area has been organized, personal items and medicine have now been removed from premise - The following areas have been cleaned: wire shelving in main kitchen, flooring of back storage room, area under 3-compartment sink - Some food items from the front freezer have been relocated to the back freezer to allow for more air circulation. Freezer unit is able to hold approximately -15 to -18C after adjustment Recommendations: - Replace and install 2-3 additional fly strips in the exterior area leading to the back storage area
