Routine Inspection

-Coffee shop currently not open to the public however, kitchen still used for the preparation of frozen meals for seniors.
-Two door cooler at 3.5 C.
-Both standing freezers at -18 C or below.
-Undercounter prep cooler not functioning and not in use. Only used to store oils - okay. Do not use until it is repaired and able to maintain a temperature of 4 C or below.
-Handwashing sink equipped with liquid soap, hot and cold water, and paper towel.
-Dishwasher registered at 73 C on plate surface during final rinse.
-Sanitizer solution available. Reminder: only use 1/2 tsp per litre of water to make a solution of 100-200 ppm (or 1/2 cap in the designated solution bottle).
-Observed proper cooling (using ice wands for shepherd's pie).
-Reminder: raw potentially hazardous foods such as eggs should be stored on the bottom shlelves of cooler to prevent contamination of ready to eat foods.

-Temperature logs not maintained.
**Temperatures of all refrigeration and freezer units should be checked daily and recorded.
** Equip coolers with accurate thermometers.

**Keep outside door closed at all times to prevent entry of pests.

**Menu items have expanded to include additional items such as shepherd's pie, chicken pie, and lasagne. Provide an updated food safety plan with all new menu items by Dec.15, 2021.
