Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
2-compartment sink next to the high temperature dishwasher was supplied with hot and cold running water. Drain plugs were available.
Dishwasher final rinse temperature was 76.6 degrees C (71 degrees C or hotter) at the plate level.
Double compartment sink in the front service area was supplied with hot and cold running water.
Ice machine was in a clean condition.
Refrigeration units were at or below 4 degrees C and were equipped with thermometers.
Freezer temperatures were satisfactory.
Front beverage cooler was replaced with an upright freezer with a sign posted on it informing customers to ask for staff assistance in obtaining the frozen desserts inside of it.
Previous upright freezer in the back area was replaced with a new upright freezer.
Chlorine test strips were available on-site.
Stera-sheen chlorine sanitizer was available on-site to sanitize the interior surfaces of the gelato maker with 100 ppm chlorine sanitizer.
100 ppm chlorine sanitizer was available inside a labelled spray bottle.
No signs of recent pest activity were present at the time of inspection.
Permit to operate was posted in a conspicuous location.
If changes to the floor plan or menu are proposed in the future, please contact the district Environmental Health Officer for review and health approval prior to making changes.
