Introduction

This is a follow-up inspection completed with the Manager to the routine inspection report # CRAU - AQGR2U (completed on August 21 and 22, 2017).

Contraventions

Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #CRAU - AQGR2U have been corrected.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Policies and Procedures: - Previously the Licensee Contact informed the writer that the required policies and procedures as per the Residential Care Regulation will be reviewed. When policies and procedures were randomly checked on the computer system, the dates did not seem to be current. For example, the Missing Persons Policy is dated September 17, 2015. The Manager left the Licensee Contact a voice mail message while the writer was on-site. Please provide confirmation that the policies and procedures required by the Residential Care Regulation have current review and/or revision dates on the computer system. Medication signing sheet: - The Manager stated that this is a work in progress. Some staff still need to sign still as they are currently on vacation. Please continue to update this list until fully completed. All other items have been fully addressed from the routine inspection report. Thank you for all the work that has been done to ensure compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act and pursuant Residential Care Regulation.
