Introduction

A unscheduled follow-up inspection to routine #NSAO-CYHVN9 was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). Areas of non-compliance identified at the last routine inspection were reviewed today.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.
Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the follow-up inspection there were 12 children, 5 staff and the Manager present. A JIBC practicum student was also present during the inspection.
All contraventions have been addressed. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified.

The following was discussed:
-Staff criminal record checks
-Update staff qualifications list as needed
-Licensing Duty line: #604-587-3936 for emergences if area Licensing Officer can't be contacted.
-Regular review of BCCDC website for COVID-19 updates (see link below)
