Observation: 1) Junction between the floor and walls, in the Meat Dept., has openings/space where food + water can accumulated.
2) The wall tiles, in the Meat Dept., has spaces between the tiles. Food + water can accumulate in.
3) Raw, unsealed wood shelves found in the walk-in cooler. Wood can absorb food.
Action: Install caulking/sealant in the junctions between the floor + wall; install grout between the wall tiles; and paint all wooden shelves with a light color.

Routine inspection conducted due to owner + name change
General: All foods stored 6" off the floor on shelves or platforms.
- Minor renovations have been done:
installed second walk-in cooler in meat dept.
Installed mop sink and h/w sink by staff washroom
3-comp sink removed by staff washroom.
2-comp sink installed in the meat dept.
- Floor plan drawing submitted
- Not all coolers + freezers were turned on, unable to check.
- Hand sinks had liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot + cold water.
- Bleach sanitized used to store cloths. [cl2] was 200ppm. Staff thinking of using Quats ammonia too.
- General sanitation level is good. No signs of pests.
