Routine inspection: Coffee bean storage, roasting, grinding (not all), addition of flavours then packaging operation. Raw coffee beans stored off the floor in the warehouse. Spills quickly cleaned. Pest control services in place. No evidence of pest activity at time of inspection. 2 compartment sink available for washing mugs used for tasting. Utility sink also available for use. Liquid soap and paper towels provided. Ultra San 100ppm chlorine sanitizer available for use in labeled spray bottles. 100ppm chlorine dispensed from chemical dispensing station. Clean in place for all equipment using compressed air and Ultra San 100ppm chlorine sanitizer solution. Construction underway for offices and tasting room. Plastic poly sheet in place to separate the construction area from the processing area in the warehouse. Reminder to contact your district environmental health officer once the tasting room is complete.
