Observation: Fridge measures 10C near the front (by the door); the back of the fridge measures 4C. Ambient temperature of the fridge upstairs measured approximately 7C.
Corrective Action(s):
- Monitor the fridges to ensure that all foods stay at 4C or less.
- Organize foods so that air flow is not compromised; store less food in these fridges if necessary.
- Some foods moved to a different cooler at the time of inspection to help improve airflow
- Temperature logs indicate that the fridges are able to reach 4C or less overnight
- If potentially hazardous foods stays between 4-60C for more than 2 hours, the food must be discarded.
