Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing [CCFL] received a complaint on March 30, 2023, regarding concerns relating to the following:

Care and supervision
- Inadequate active supervision
- Insufficient staff to child ratio

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from interviews and documentation.

The following contravention/s were cited:

Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR)
- Section 34(2)(a) – Group sizes and employee to children ratios
- Section 13(1) – Environment

Observation: The Manager confirmed that Child A has climbed on one side of the outdoor cement fence and into the neighbour's yard.

14020 - CCLR s.34(2)(a)Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that (a) children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E.
Observation: The Manager confirmed that, on March 30, 2023, there were 8 children in care
