- Kitchen and downstairs storage room maintained in sanitary condition
- Liquid soap and paper towel present at sink in the kitchen for handwashing
- Coolers operating at acceptable temperatures (4C or colder) and freezers maintaining product in a frozen state:
- Kitchen fridge/freezer 3C/-18C
- Storage room fridge/freezer 1C/-15C
- Storage room Frigidaire cooler 4C
- Storage room upright freezer -12C
- All fridges equipped with thermometers. Temperatures of coolers are monitored and recorded daily.
- Food stored in a manner to prevent contamination.
- Dry goods in downstair storage room stored in pest proof containers
- Food in coolers covered with lids or food grade wrap.
- No signs of pest activity noted. Gaps which could allow pest entry noted in previous routine inspection have been filled.
- Bleach sanitizer solution present in spray bottle. Label present on spray bottle to indicate contents. Concentration of solution measured 200ppm chlorine
- Domestic dishwasher present in kitchen. Sanitizing cycle used.
- Staff on duty reported she completed Foodsafe level 1 last year. This will be verified on the Foodsafe registry as certficate was not present at the time of the inspection. There must be one person present who holds a Foodsafe level 1 certificate. Please review staff certificates to ensure adequate coverage and that staff hold a valid Foodsafe level 1 certificate. Note: Foodsafe level 1 certificates are valid for 5 years.
