HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 11
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 1
302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Soiled and oily grill pan was observed sitting on the shelf behind the tandoori oven. The shelf was in poor sanitary condition, littered with debris.
Corrective Action(s): Grill pan was removed at time of inspection to be cleaned and sanitized. Oily debris was removed from the shelf. This is a recurring issue - do not leave oily items lying around on shelves without FIRST cleaning, sanitizing, and air-drying them. This is one of the reasons why you may have had high pest activity in this area in the past.
Violation Score: 5

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2
209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One container of lettuce was left uncovered in walk-in cooler. Raw chicken and raw fish containers were also stored next to cooked chicken.
Corrective Action(s): Cooked chicken products were moved away to the opposite shelf. Do not store cooked items in the SAME shelf as raw items - direct contamination can occur.
Violation Score: 3

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Area around tandoori oven still contains debris and grime in between, and under, equipment.
Corrective Action(s): Flooring around tandoori oven and area around equipment was scraped and mopped at time of inspection. You must ensure that your premise remains in good sanitary condition.
Violation Score: 3

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
