Routine inspection is conducted
The facility is used for instructing KPU Brewing Technology program and the production of beer for limited sales to the public.

Handwashing station in the tasting area and production area are supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel. NOTE: Provide a paper towel dispenser in tasting/ filling station area to ensure that paper towels are easily accessible and available at all times.
All brew tanks and fermentation tanks are cleaned in place using the following process:
-Cleaning with hot water and caustic solution.
-Rinsing several times with water
-Rinsing with CIP Acid ( Phosphoric and Nitric Acid)
-Rinsing with water
-Sanitizing with Perox-E-Plus ( Peracetic Acid) as final step. Titration test kit is available for testing the concentration of the sanitizing solution
- All equipment after manual warewashing is sanitized with peracetic acid solution
All chemical agents are stored in a separate room
Floors, walls and ceiling surfaces are easy to clean and maintained in good repair
Storage and milling of grains is done in a separate designated dry storage room.
Walk-in cooler is measured at less than 4C
Beer dispensing spouts are cleaned using detergent and water and sanitized using peracetic acid between filling of the growlers
No signs of pest(s) noted at the time of inspection. Pest control measures are in place.
Standard operating procedures ( SOPs) are in place for every cleaning task.
