On May 20, 2020, Licensing received a complaint alleging concerns regarding Care and Supervision and Notification of Illness. The allegations included the following details: - Inadequate monitoring of food intake. - Inadequate medical attention. - Inadequate care and supervision. - Inadequate communication concerning cause of death. - Inequitable access to a person in care. All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. The following contraventions were determined: - Residential Care Regulation (RCR) Section 61 Self monitoring of a community care facility. - RCR Section 85(1)(c) Policies and procedures |
