Introduction

A scheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance. A request for Temporary Placement was also discussed during this inspection..

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated November 3, 2020 there were 5 children and 1 staff present. This facility has 9 children currently registered. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The following education/recommendations were provided: CCFL License must be posted in the facility. Licensee will make a copy to post in the area where children enter the facility. The Licensee provided that the License was removed to prevent the document from wear and tear but it had normally been posted in this area. A discussion was had regarding start dates on registration forms. Covid-19 prevention strategies were discussed and a copy of the WorkSafe Protocols and Covid-19 Guidelines will be provided via email.
