At today’s inspection, there were 8 children, 1 staff and the Manager present.
At this inspection, no contraventions were identified.
As part of this Routine Inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy was provided to the facility along with this report.
The Risk Assessment includes any non-compliance identified during the routine inspection and a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation and is used to determine inspection frequency.
The following was discussed:
-Toileting and diapering routine
-Sanitization and hygiene practices during and after diaper changing
-Storage and laundry of bedding items
-Nap time supervision practices
-Hand washing practices
-Use of logbook
-Emergency Evacuation plan: secondary location
-System for checking and replenishing emergency supply kits
-Daily outdoor checks/sweeps
-Incident reporting
