Joint inspection conducted with City of Surrey Bylaws officer, the following observations were made: -The walkway between the garden center and the retail store is now blocked -Signage is now posted at the cashier tills directing customers where to begin lining up -There are large orange arrow stickers on the ground directing customers where to line up, which go around the cashier till towards the side of the store -Operator indicated that store cart handles are being sanitized twice daily. This will need to increase to being sanitized after each customer. -Operator indicated that 20 customers in the grocery store retail side will be the maximum capacity -Operator has hired someone to stay at the front of the store during busy hours (12-6pm) Once store capacity of 20 people is reached, this person must ensure to only let one customer in if another customer exits. -Operator will be placing markers outside the store that are 2 meters apart so that customers can form a line while social distancing. Please ensure to continually monitor your retail store and make any necessary changes if you observe that the above actions are still not allowing customers to adequately social distance.
