Introduction

This is a follow-up inspection completed with the Manager/Program Coordinator to the routine inspection report #CRAU-B9CU2R (completed on February 13, 2019).

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Not Applicable
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice except for those noted on supplementary pages.

Observed Violations
PHYSICAL FACILITY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS: 31290 - RCR s.22(1)(b) - A licensee must ensure that all rooms and common areas are (b) maintained in a good state of repair.
Observation: This is the item regarding the fence that appears to be rotting outside the dining/kitchen area. The Manager has touched base with BC Housing regarding this.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure all rooms and common areas are maintained in a good state of repair.
Date to be Corrected: Please provide an update on this by the timeline noted in this report.


Comments

Physical Plant:

- The picnic table outside will be assessed and determined if it will continue to be used otherwise it will be discarded.

- The swing outside will be removed and discarded.

- The Manager/Program Coordinator stated she will touch base with BC Housing regarding other items that need to be completed in the house (e.g., changing of the carpeting in the common areas, painting, etc). Prior to any work starting please submit a health and safety plan to the writer for review and approval.
