Permit to Operate was available.
Manager was certified in FOODSAFE Level 1 (dated: May 15, 2011), which will expire next year July 29, 2018. It was discussed that the operator and one person in the absence of the operator on shift must maintain valid FOODSAFE training (e.g. by completing FOODSAFE Level 1 Refresher course online). See FOODSAFE.ca for details.
Both handsinks in the kitchen and handsink in the staff washroom was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Walk-in-cooler was at 1.9 degrees C (4 degrees C / 40 degrees F or less).
Pizza cooler was near 2.9 degrees C (4 degrees C / 40 degrees F or less).
Pop cooler was above 4 degrees C however is used for pop only.
Walk-in-cooler and pizza prep. cooler were equipped with thermometers.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available in the third compartment of the 3-compartment sink.
Light bulbs were encased in sleeves above the dishwashing area.
Food was covered and stored off the floor in storage areas.
*Minor cleaning of the corner near the back storage area is needed.
