Observation: Soap dispensers at front and rear hand sinks were empty. Units are no longer refillable due to discontinuation of model. Staff have been using dish detergent as a substitute.
Corrective Action(s): Replace obsolete dispensers at both hand sinks with working units by next week (10th November 2016). Ensure hand soap is also made available at the washroom hand sink.

*General sanitation satisfactory. No pest issues observed during inspection.
*Quat sanitizer available at 200ppm. Sanitizer used after cleaning slicer, bandsaw and other implements.
*Slicer and bandsaw recently used. Both implements appeared to be maintained in otherwise clean condition.
*Cutting boards and clean knives stored in clean condition.
*All cooler and freezer temperatures satisfactory. Thermometers available in each unit.
*Random selection of products checked were within best before dates.
*Discussed suppliers for meat and other ready-to-eat/cook items.
*Pepperoni and other items on display at front counter stored in containers to protect from contamination.
*Dry storage areas maintained in tidy condition.
*Warewashing sinks in working condition. Plug available for sanitizing sink. Ensure plugs are available for all three sink compartments.
