DWO met with David Chan of UBC, working for RES'EAU-WaterNET who is operating a pilot project on site at the intake on Priest Lake for the next 6 months to assess various water filters for DOC and colour removal. VAID has entered into a long term contract with this group in the hopes of finding a low cost treatment option fo meet the 4,3,2<1 requirement. David will keep VCH in the loop on test results. Initial operation of ion exchange filters has not been operational as of yet.
