Observation: 25 Inadequate treatment for the removal of parasitic cysts of Giardia / Cryptosporidium
Corrective Action: Water treatment remains only chlorination. Consulting engineering report is underway to assist operators in determining appropriate options for providing treatment to the 4,3,3,<1 treatment standard.
304  Critical Inadequate Water Quality / Disinfection / Treatment / Quantity
Observation: 40 Inadequate treatment to reduce turbidity from silt and organics
Corrective Action: Water exhibits relatively high total organic carbon and turbidity levels at times. This complicates the ability to treat to the required level and must also be addressed as it results in THM levels which exceed the standard of 100 ppb.
309   Inadequate Emergency Response Plan / Implementation
Observation: 10 Emergency Response Plan has not been updated to include additional hazards / revised contact lists / etc.
Corrective Action: Ensure Emergency Response plan is reviewed and contact information is updated.
