Comments:
New park operators in place this season are just learning to manage the water treatment system. Small water system operator training should be completed when possible in the next 6 months. Daily records being kept - free available chlorine level has been a bit high recently. DWO will arrange to meet with both operators to discuss system operational requirements and monitoring. New UV treatment system has been installed and is operational. This water supply system now meets the full treatment standard. Emergency Response Plan should be updated with new operators' names. Wells have been fenced. Good bacteriological water sampling frequency in 2014 and to date in 2015. One sample in 2014 was positive for e. coli which resulted in the issuance of a boil water advisory for 9 days. In 2015 to date 2/12 samples were positive for total coliforms although these were from the same sample date in January. An Annual Report for the previous calendar year needs to be completed before June 30, 2015. The attached template may be of assistance to you in this regard.
