Observation: 25 Inadequate treatment for the removal of parasitic cysts of Giardia / Cryptosporidium
Corrective Action: Action plan submitted as required which sets out a schedule to be followed for GBID to arrive at full compliance with DWPA. First steps have been undertaken and progress continues.
309   Inadequate Emergency Response Plan / Implementation
Observation: 10 Emergency Response Plan has not been updated to include additional hazards / revised contact lists / etc.
Corrective Action: Please update ERP and ensure all contact names and numbers are accurate.

Actions Taken:
Water Sample - Microbiological
Excellent frequency of sampling in 2007, with 151 samples analyzed and 19 positive for Total Coliform bacteria. This exceeds the maximum 10% of samples testing positive, although some samples were collected at residential taps, and irregular sampling sites. This frequency of sampling will certainly assist in better understanding the water quality status in the system.
Water Sample - Chemical
THM levels continue to be higher than desired due to the high level of organics in the source water.
