Comments:
Present were DWO/EHO, Michael Nguyen and EHO, Jack Davidson. Inspection of waterworks and opportunity to meet the new caretakers. Linda Alcos and Kevin Wilson are new caretakers of Shelter Point. Good sampling frequency conducted in 2017 (55 samples) and only 1 sample was positive for TC (1); no e. coli. Good sampling frequency conducted thus far in 2018 (29 samples to date) and only 1 sample was positive for TC (1); no e. coli. Well water goes through 25 micron filter, UV, and chlorination. UV is on sensors and filters are changed as needed. During inspection it was noted the FAC was at 0.75. FAC readings are monitored on a daily basis. The Emergency Response and Contingency Plan needs to be updated as there has been recent staff changes within VCH - a template will be emailed to the operator.
