Observation: 1) Ventilation exhaust has not been installed above stove. 2) Screens have not been provided for doors that open into food preparation areas.
Corrective Action: 1) Install exhaust ventilation above stove in kitchen, to remove any steam, vapour or odour created from stovetop cooking (ventilation hood has been purchased, however has not yet been installed). 2) Screens must be provided for any doors or windows that open into food preparation areas.

Comments:

The following items have been addressed since last inspection:
- Mop-drying area has been moved away from food prep areas = good.
- Wall-mounted liquid handsoap and paper towel dispensers have been provided at all handwash stations.

Other items noted at time of inspection (meets regulatory requirements):
- Dishwasher sanitizing rinse temperatures record above 180F = good.
- Clean, wiping cloths stored in sanitizing solution (100ppm bleach) = good.
- Foodsafe certified staff on-site
- Fridge temperatures recorded below 4C = good
- Freezer temperatures recorded -17C = good.
- Temperature log maintained daily
- Kitchen well organized and maintained
- Foods covered, labelled dated, protected from contamination
- Trans-Fat Regulations reviewed with operator.
