Observation: The lights above the dishwasher do not work and are not protected by a cover.
Corrective Action: Provide working lights for this area and ensure that they are covered either by a protective sleeve or a cover.

Observation: The flooring downstairs is cracked, and is not smooth or easily cleanable.
Corrective Action: Refinish the flooring downstairs so that it is smooth, non-porous and easily cleanable.

Observation: The shelving above the laundry is made of bare wood and should be refinished.
Corrective Action: Paint the shelving for above the laundry area with an easily cleanable, non-porous finish.

Observation: The liquor storage room upstairs is covered with carpet.
Corrective Action: Remove the carpet and provide an easily cleanable surface for the floor.

Observation: Repeat Violation: The walk in cooler floor requires replacement as the stainless steel floor joints are coming up and there seems to be some structural damage underneath possbily due to rot/condensation.
Corrective Action: Refinish the floor of the walk in cooler so that it is properly sealed and that the floor is flat and solid. The surface must also be smooth, non-porous and easily cleanable.
501   Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are suitable for their intended purpose (Sec 16(a)(l))
Observation: The bags of flour in the front entrance are not protected from customers.
Corrective Action: Either move the flour or provide some sort of barrier between customers and this dry storage area.

Comments:

Operator to respond to the report and indicate a reasonable time for completion of the building maintenance items. Premises is generally clean and organized. All protective temperatures meet regulatory requirements at time of inspection. Both dishwashers are functioning correctly at time of inspection. Temperature logs are complete and up to date.
