Observation: None of the staff working in the store has foodsafe training.
Corrective Action: There must be at least one person with foodsafe level 1 or equivalent training working in each shift. Send all shift supervisors for the next available foodsafe training or take equivalent corrective actions to comply with Section 10 of the Food Premises Regulation.
505   Food premises maintained in a sanitary condition (Sec 17(1))
Observation: The whole premies is in need of thorough cleaning. Floor, wall, equipment interiors and exteriors, vents, ceilings tiles and garbage cans are visibly dirty.
Corrective Action: Review the sanitation plan for the facility to include more frequent cleaning of all equipment, walls and floors.
513   Refrigeration and hot holding equipment has accurate thermometers (Sec 19(2))
Observation: Thermometers not provided in the refrigeration units.
Corrective Action: Provide accurate thermometers in all refrigeration units and start monitoring and recording temperatures daily.

Comments:

Routine inspection.
In compliance items:
- Refrigeration temperatures are 4 degree Celsius or below.
- Hand washing facilities are satisfactory.
- 200 ppm quat sanitizer available from the sanitizer dispenser.
- No signs of any pests observed.

A major renovation has been planned for this facility the coming months. No plans to change the layout of the facility. The operator is requested to provide the details of finishes for approval before staring the renovations.
