Comments:
New - used bar glass washer installed with iodine disinfectant. Hot water tank observed at 140F Concentration of iodine in sanitizing solution could not be definitley determined. The level on the iodine container was marked and dated.
The equipment tech. is scheduled to adjust the rinse aid feed on Feb 16.
The operator was requested to ensure that equipment tech confirms the concentration of the iodine sanitizer rinse must be a minimum of 12.5 ppm. Also requested that the prime controls be labeled or colour coded to ensure the proper priming of feed lines at the time of replacing chemicals.
