Observation: This facility changed ownership 6 months ago and has not applied for a health permit to operate. Health operating permits are not transferable.
Corrective Action: A completed food permit application must be submitted to the health department within 1 week from receipt of this report. A copy of the application information is attached to this report.
121  Critical Inadequate food safety training - staff
Observation: There were three staff members working at the time of the inspection. None of them have Foodsafe Level 1 Certification.
Corrective Action: At least 1 person must be on site at all times who has completed the Foodsafe Level 1 course. Please ensure that an adequate number of staff complete the course to satisfy this requirement. Courses must be completed within 3 months from receipt of this report.

Comments:

An inspection of the facility was conducted and will serve as the initial inspection under the change of ownership. Once all necessary documents are received a permit to operate will be issued.

General Observations:
1. All temperatures met regulatory requirements.
2. Thermometers noted in coolers.
3. Food storage was acceptable - all foods covered, dated and 6 inches off the floor.
4. Sanitizing solution in spray bottles tested adequate concentration.
5. Hand washing station equipped with liquid soap and paper towel.
6. No signs of pests during inspection.
