Observation: The floor of the walk-in cooler in the basement is in disrepair and is need of repainting or refinishing.
Corrective Action: Please refinish or repaint floor of walk in cooler in a color that is light. This is necessary as the light color will make debris and filth easier to see while and the finish will make debris easier to clean. This is in addition to preventative maintenance against water damage from condensation in the cooler.
604   Adequate handwashing stations at convenient locations are available for employees (Sec 21 (4))
Observation: 1. At the time of the inspection the kitchen handbasins was being used to store items and was not accessible for use. 2. At the time of the inspection there was no single use paper towel available for use at the bar sink.
Corrective Action: In both cases please ensure that both handbasins are free and available for use along with being well stocked with soap and paper towel. Proper use of handwashing facilities is essential to personal cleanliness and to reduce the likelihood of contamination of food. It has been documented that improper handwashing is a major contributing factor in outbreaks of food borne illness. Both violations were corrected at the time of the inspection.

In general facility is clean and well maintained.
Dishwasher is sanitizing properly at 71 degrees Celsius.
Quats sanitizer is made to manufacturers specifications and is available for use.
Food storage practices are satisfactory.
Temperature logs are up to date.
Thermometers are readily visible in each freezer and cooler.
All protective temperatures meet health requirements.
