Observation: Effective measures not used to control entrance (rodent and insect proof construction) and harborage of rodents, flies, cockroaches and other vermin. Gap at bottom of door to storage room.
Corrective Action: Replace weather stripping at bottom of door to storage room.
116   Improper Construction / Maintenance of Establishment
Observation: Cleaning of floors is generally good - some areas of floors showing unclean surfaces.
Corrective Action: Additional attention to floors required: 1.under shelving and counters in baking area. 2.door jam at screen door. 3.corner under 2compartment sink in storage area. 3.corner under 'cookie shelves'.

116.Counter/wall join at handbasin in front service area has been sealed.
120.Operator has completed FoodSafe training.

Other areas noted at time of inspection.
-liquid soap and paper towels available for handwashing at handbasin in front service area and washrooms=good!
-proper handwashing observed at time of inspection = good!
-Permit to Operate on display in view of public - please post revised Permit = thanks!
-all refrigeration (including display case) <4C = good!
-all freezers <-18C = good!
-screen door being used = good!
-wiping cloths stored in 200ppm QAC in front service area and food prep/baking area = good!
-temperature log is being maintained = good!
-high temp dishwasher final rinse is acceptable - >72C internal with thermometer (dishwasher gauges were not checked for >82C/180F)
-cooling (turkey) on ice for 1 hour and using timer = good!
-staff cooperative = thanks!
