Observation: Some upper walls not in good repair, unclean surfaces.
Corrective Action: Upper wall areas require re-painting within the year (by Dec 2005).
113   Improper Sanitary Facilities
Observation: Inadequate handwashing facilities – no soap available in staff washroom and very small quantity of hand sanitizer available at time of inspection.
Corrective Action: Handbasins must be kept clean and supplied with liquid soap and paper towels at all times during operation. Handbasin in food prep area fully equipped with liquid soap and paper towels for handwashing at time of inspection, so supervisor will be vigilant and ensure the all staff washes hands prior to entering food prep area. Portable pump soap dispenser to be purchased before evening shift as a temporary remedy until wall-mounted soap dispenser re-installed.
