Routine inspection. Discussed the results of this inspection with the operator Fiona.
In compliance items:
- All refrigerators except the front display cooler running is at 4 degree Celsius or below. The display cooler is running at 7 degree Celsius. As per temperature log, the display case temperature was 3 degree Celsius in the morning. The operator states that they have recently cleaned the display case. The operator advised to monitor display case temperature more frequently during the day. If the temperature stays above 4 degree Celsius for more than 2 hours a corrective action must be initiated.
- Freezer temperatures are below -18 degree Celsius.
- Soap and paper towel provided on the 3 compartment sink.
- Bleach sanitizer being used in the 3 compartment sink to sanitize dishes.
- Bleach sanitizer available in a spray bottle.
- Foodsafe certified food handlers available.
- No signs of any pest infestation.
- Thermometers provided in all the cooling units.
- Temperature logs being maintained.
- Food handling practices appear to be satisfactory.
- Staff washroom is well stocked.
