Corrective Action: 1) Within the next year, plan for repair or replacement of all worn countertops and shelves. Counters and shelf surfaces should be smooth, non-absorbent, durable, easy to clean, and free of cracks and crevices. 2) Walls behind all work counters should be protected with durable, waterproof backsplashes, to facilitate easy cleaning and protect walls from damage. |
