Met with Nancy, the owner/operator.
This facility is currently not in compliance for a condition on the food service establishment permit. This condition prohibits the production of any grease laden vapor due to lack of proper ventilation in the facility. The operator currently stir fries chicken schnitzels and has been previously requested by the EHO to provide a self contained deep fryer or a vent less fryer in order to continue this practice.
As per information provided by Nancy, she has finalized a self contained deep fryer and it will soon be installed in the facility. The operator is in touch with RMOW building department to seek approval for the proposed equipment.
