| Steps Taken to Remedy: 1. Immediately issue a boil water notice to all users.
2. Immediately post boil water notice signs on all taps.
3. Follow emergency response plan. | |
| Corrective Actions Remaining: 1. Review and investigate water system for any issues including the well, treatment system and distribution lines.
2. If any issues are discovered, correct, repair and service water system.
3. Shock chlorinate (disinfect) the well and water lines accordingly, then thoroughly flush the water system.
4. At least 1 week after shock chlorination, submit two sets of bacteriological water samples showing the absence of total coliforms and E.coli. These sets of samples must be taken at least 24hrs apart. |
