This facility is currently under a Boil Water Notice

     Underlying Problems: Unacceptable microbiological water quality results along with limited sampling history for the drinking water system. This has been the first sample submitted for this location since 2020.
     Steps Taken to Remedy: Contacted operator to discuss the 22 total coliforms detected in the most recent samples taken, as well as the potential cause of the unacceptable microbiological water quality results.
     Corrective Actions Remaining: Operator will need to provide public notice to all appropriate parties of the Boil Water Notice, as well as place signs on all publicly accessible taps. Operator also needs to determine if there has been a contamination event or failure in the integrity of the distribution system. The sample site Dease Lake R.V. Park should be resampled on June 27th, 2023. The distribution system should be flushed and disinfected, as well as sampling sites Cabin 4 and Cabin 9 resampled at least one week after disinfecting the lines. At least two consecutive satisfactory samples collected at least 24 hours apart will also be required.
