| 307 | Critical Contamination of finished water - Resevoir Observation: One of the conditions on the permit is to clean, flush and disinfect the storage tank at least annually. Operator confirmed its been a while since that was done. This might be the source of contamination leading to the unsatisfactory water results from samples collected on Oct 3 and 10. Corrective Action: System has been put on a boil water notice (BWN). Operator has called vacuum and steam truck to clean, flush and disinfect tank. That will be done today Oct 14. Two samples will be submitted on Oct 17 and 24. If both results are satisfactory, BWN will be rescinded. Operator is aware to ensure the system is kept clean and disinfected to prevent contamination of water. |
