Northern Health Public Health Protection

The mission of the Public Health Protection Program is to protect the health of Northern communities through education and inspection strategies designed to reduce health risks to the public.

Our responsibility in Northern British Columbia is from the Queen Charlotte Islands to the Alberta border, and as far south as Quesnel. There is a map of Northern Health’s jurisdictional boundaries on the Northern Health website at www.northernhealth.ca/About.
