202Critical Food not processed in a manner that makes it safe to eat [s. 14(1)]
Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Garbage bags were being used to store raw meat during the inspection.
Corrective Action: Garbage bags are not food grade. They must not be used to store food to prevent cross contamination. Operator was instructed to stop using garbage bags for food storage. All raw meat was transferred out to a clean bin. Went over procedures with the operator regarding cleaning and sanitization of plastic bins before storing of food products.
306 Repeat Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: The following areas require cleaning due to unsanitary condition: dishware storage across the grill, below dishwashers, dry storage area and flour bin area.
Corrective Action: These areas must be thorougly cleaned to get rid of the food debris and stains.
