Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code Description
103Critical Food Not Protected From Contamination - Other Sources
Observation: A bag of onions was stored directly on the floor under the 3-compartment sink. Accidental contact and spills can contaminate foods as chemicals are stored in close proximity.
Corrective Action: Store all food off the floor and away from chemical storage area. Health inspector moved the bag of onions to a nearby shelf facing the walk-in cooler.
113 Improper Sanitary Facilities
Observation: Sanitizer dispenser above 3 compartment sink was depleted, and the dispensing hose was disconnected. Without sanitizer dispensed at the proper concentration, this can either lead sanitizer solution being too diluted and ineffective, or too concentrated leading to chemical contamination of food prep surfaces
Corrective Action: Replace sanitzier container by 3 compartment sink immediately. If mixing of sanitizer is done manually, use the testing strips available on site to ensure the proper concentration is reached.
116 Improper Construction / Maintenance of Establishment
Observation: Spill of syrup was observed under the softdrink syrup boxes, pooling under the janitorial sink and towards the back door. This can lead to pest attractant.
Corrective Action: Thorough clean up the area and the syrup box rack within a week (by Feb 24, 2016)
