105 | Critical Inadequate Cooling & Refrigerated Storage of Potentially Hazardous Food(s) Observation: (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION) Two out of 4, 1 litre milk condiments were above 4°C in thermo containers. The half milk and whole milk jugs were at 15°C. This was likely a result of customers opening the jugs all the way and letting the food contents warm up to room temperature. The milk was discarded by operator. Corrective Action: Starbucks has a policy to discard milk condiments in thermocontainers after 4 hours. Recommendation: to shorten time to two hours in hot weather and depending on turnover rate. Issue was resolved at time of inspection. |
