Violations:
A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

Code Description
209 Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: The panini grill was placed next to the hand wash station under the paper towel dispenser. This could lead to contamination of food products with dirty water dripping from hand..
Corrective Action: Ensure that the food is protected from contamination. This could be achieved by either moving panini grill to a different location away from hand wash station or relocating paper towel dispenser so it is not right above the panini grill.
308 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: The sanitizer dispenser above 3-comparrtment sink was depleted and dispensing hose was disconnected. Due to leakage problems, the staff plugs in the dispensing hose only during the dishwashing. Without sanitizer dispensed at proper concentration, the sanitizer solution could be too diluted making it ineffective for sanitizing dishes or too concentrated, leading to chemical contamination. The concentration of QUATS sanitizer was recorded 200ppm duirng the inspection.
Corrective Action: Repair/replace the dispensing hose to ensure that the sanitizer dispenser is connected to 3-compartment sink and proper concentration of sanitizer is maintained.
