Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Small amount of basil stored in a bowl with water (~15C) located on top of a chest freezer. Ice added in the bowl at this time. Ensure basil and bean sprout are stored with ice at all time.

Observation: Observed four containers of pickled vegetables displayed for sale next to the cashier. Food safety plan for this item has not been submitted. Operator removed pickled vegetables from sale.
Corrective Action(s): Submit a revised food safety plan should the operator wishes to sell pickeld vegetables.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Two sliding door cooler near the cashier was measured at 6C. The temperature measured at 3.9C after the tempreature gauge was adjusted. Foods in this cooler were limited to whole vegetable, pickled foods, etc.

Observation: Operator's FOODSAFE level 1 certificate has expired in Feb 2023.
Corrective Action(s): Register for FOODSAFE Level 1 course. Proof of registration (e.g., receipt) to be submitted to the district health inspector. Correct this by: 2 weeks.

Routine inspection conducted:
Hand washing station is fully equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
General sanitation is excellent.
No sign of recent pest activity noted at this time.
All coolers measured at 4C or less (with an exception of 'Minute Maid' cooler as it is undergoing repair).
All freezers at adequate temperature. Foods in frozen state.
Food contact surface sanitizer was measured at 100 ppm chlorine as per test strips.
High temperature dishwasher's sanitizing cycle was measured at 72.1C at the plate level.
Ice machine in a sanitary condition.
