Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Coolers 4C or colder; freezer was -25C; hot holding was 50C (however foods sold within 1 hour or discarded); and thermometers present.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- 3-compartment sink drain pipe no longer leaks. During the inspection, dishes were being washed using 3-comp. method.
- Bleach used for sanitizing. [Cl2] was 200ppm in 3-comp. dishwashing sink.
- FoodSafe certified staff present, with valid certificate. Review all certificates to ensure none are expired. If a certificate does NOT have an expiration date on it, then it has expired and a refresher course requires to be taken. Go to www.foodsafe.ca to register for the refresher course.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; stored in groups; and 6" off the floor on shelves or platforms.
- No expired foods for sale or in use.
- General sanitation level is good. No signs of pests.
- Cardboard and foil covering shelves and surfaces are clean, staff are changing it at an adequate frequency. Good.
